Academic writing and public health sit next to Python and machine learning. Plus is useful because those courses are scattered across partners; one annual access covers graded work instead of paying per course.
Keep methods and tools on the same account
A typical year is one methods or biostats sequence plus a short programming or data-viz specialization. Certificates still come from Coursera in your name. That matters if you list them on a lab site or ORCID-adjacent profile. Coursera Access only prepares Plus; we do not issue the certificate.
Practical setup
Create the Coursera Access account, finish the short profile (including the Coursera email the certificates should use), pay $49 with Stripe, and wait for dashboard access within 4 hours of payment confirmation. Then work on coursera.org as usual.
