People search “Coursera Plus cheaper”, “Coursera Plus $49”, and “how much is Coursera Plus”. The public list price for a Plus year is $399. Here you pay $49 once for those same 12 months on your own coursera.org account. You keep $350. We are not Coursera, Inc. Certificates still come from Coursera in your name.
One number on the server
The price is $49 USD. It is set on the server when Stripe Checkout is created. The browser cannot send a different amount. There is no monthly plan from us and no SAR checkout. You pay once for 12 months of Coursera Plus on your Coursera account.
$399 is the comparison, not a second SKU
Coursera’s published annual Plus price is $399. We show it so the $49 figure has a public reference. We do not sell Coursera’s checkout. We sell preparation of Plus on your login, tracking, and dashboard support.

If you will not finish graded work this year, read the guide on whether Plus is worth it before you pay.
