The Coursera Access account is not Coursera
You create an account here so we can take payment, run the 4-hour preparation clock, and message you. Access details — the information you need to use Plus — appear only in the dashboard after the order is prepared. Email never contains passwords or secrets. Your coursera.org login stays yours. Certificates are issued by Coursera in the name on that Coursera account.
Stripe confirms payment. Then the 4 hours start.
The success page after checkout does not mark the order paid. A signed Stripe webhook does. From that moment we have a maximum of 4 hours to prepare 12 months of Coursera Plus on the Coursera email you put in your profile. If you pay and the dashboard still says waiting, give the webhook a moment, then write to us in Messages — not in a new checkout.
What “prepared” means
It means Plus is ready on the Coursera account you specified, and the dashboard can show you how to use it. It does not mean we host courses, grade assignments, or print certificates. Learning, progress, Professional Certificates (Google, IBM, Meta, Microsoft, Intuit, DeepLearning.AI, universities) all stay on Coursera’s catalogue.
After access is visible
Open coursera.org, sign in as yourself, and enrol. Put finished certificate links on LinkedIn. If something is wrong with the order, the thread on that order in your dashboard is the record we work from. Collaboration documents, if we publish any later, will sit on the collaboration page — this page is the operating manual for customers.
Create the account first if you do not have one. The order form stays behind a complete profile on purpose.
