Everything, in one list
Coursera Plus is an annual subscription giving unlimited access to thousands of courses, Specializations and Professional Certificates from over 350 universities and companies. It is worth it in proportion to how much you intend to take: one subscription costs less than a single paid course, so the break-even point is roughly one programme. The catalog is not only technical. It spans public health and epidemiology, business and finance, psychology, law and policy, education, environmental science, languages, philosophy and history, alongside data science and computing. Researchers and teaching staff most often use it for statistics, research methods, academic writing and instructional design. The honest caveat: an annual subscription only pays off if you open it, so buy it because you have specific courses in mind rather than because it is cheap.
It depends what you need it for, and it is worth being precise. A course certificate is evidence that you completed a specific course from a named institution, on a record anyone can verify on Coursera. That is genuinely useful on a CV, in a grant application or in a promotion case. It is not a degree, it is not accredited the way a university qualification is, and no employer treats it as one: anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Professional Certificates are the heavier end of the range, built with employers for specific roles such as project management, data analysis, UX design and cybersecurity from Google, or data science and AI engineering from IBM. Across academia people more often use certificates to evidence a method or tool they now use in their own field. Certificates are issued by Coursera in your own name, on your own profile, and never mention us.
Yes: the product is real Coursera Plus (Coursera Plus: 1 Year), activated on your own coursera.org account, with your own login and password. We are not Coursera and we don't claim to be: we are an independent reseller sourcing seats through a university partner program (partner: a university partner, to be announced). A public verification link will be available soon.
Coursera Plus retails at €59/mo (~€708/yr). Universities license Coursera access at academic rates well below the public price, and courseraccess passes that academic pricing on to learners. The discount comes from the sourcing route, not from shared logins, stolen keys, or cut-down access.
The seller of record is the company behind courseraccess (registration number: available soon). You are not paying Coursera and not paying the university: we handle billing, delivery, and support. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Because the university isn't the seller, it's the academic partner whose program makes the pricing possible. Billing, activation, and support are run by the company behind courseraccess, so emails come from courseraccess (our domain), not from a university address. Any email claiming to be the university selling you access directly is one to be suspicious of.
Coursera Plus: 1 Year: 12 Months of the full Coursera Plus catalog, courses, Specializations, and Professional Certificates: on your own Coursera account. Certificates are issued by Coursera in your own name and are verifiable on your Coursera profile.
